Flag Day for the Children Society' 08, 8th November 2008

We had fun. Although muddled head, as we were inexperienced in selling flags, we managed to get to the right place. We started from Far East Plaza to Kovan, which was a long MRT ride.
3 of us. Jun Ming, Wei Xian, and Hafizah as well as other non-interactors had completed the flag day. Last of all, we would like to thank the children society for letting us have this wonderful experience.

Preserve Earth Youth Camp in JB photos

Project Preserve Planet Earth Youth Camp, Johor Bahru, 19th April 2008

This is a project organised by the Rotary International District 3310 Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) Committee and collaborating with the Johore Bahru City Council and Iskandar Development Region.
The main objective of the project is to promote understanding and friendship between youth from Malaysia and Singapore through fostering awareness and concern for the environment.

Interactors and youth volunteers from Johore, Malacca and Singapore participated in this
project. Also, Ms Jessica Tan, Miss Singapore Universe and Ms Adeline Choo, Miss Malaysia
World were present too.

From this project, we learned that we must preserve our own natural preservation, always maintain a clean environment and creating a better bonds with our fellow friends internationally.

We looked forward to participate new and meaningful activities in future.

Here are some of the photos taken.

WORKSHOP CUM SEMINAR ON MEMORY ORGANISED BY THE ROTARY OF S'PORE ON 27TH APR 08

As member of the Interact Club, there is this privilege of attending courses, workshops, participating in meaningful activities that the Rotract and the Rotary organised. This time, we attended a Memory Training Workshop by Mr Wong Peng Wai, Managing Director of AWS Pte. Ltd.

This full day training was indeed a beneficial session! We not only learn how to use memory principles for application but also using memory techniques and exercises to enhance the memory.

We wish to thank the Rotract Club for informing us about this event and the Rotary for organising it.
(p.s we heard that there will be a second session coming up. Hope to hear from them soon)

Enjoy the photos.
